The Nissan BladeGlider, a concept based on the ZEOD racing car, formally known as the DeltaWing, (but we don’t talk about that anymore, now do we) looks like it may make a production run.
This is clearly something to celebrate, the BladeGlider is different, maybe revolutionary. Its race counterpart was clearly outgunning stuff much larger and more powerful than itself, and we can thank Very Clever Aerodynamics for that…
Do you remember what happened to the DeltaWing? That’s right, it kept getting it’s face smashed in by other racing cars, not just because of its ultra light weight construction, but because nobody could see it.
I Really want to see the BladeGlider make production, but unless they can solve the ‘visibility’ problems it *could* go down as folly for Nissan.
T’is rather marvellous thing, though…
